Lessons to learn from Shahrukh Khan's gifts from his father

DON'T BECOME A PHILOSOPHER UNTIL YOU ARE RICH

He got 5 gifts from his Walid(father) which changed his life and helped him to become what he is today

His gifts were:

CHESS

1.How to do work with cooperation.

2.Sometimes we have to back off in life for progress.

3.Respect everyone. Nobody is small.

4.Sometimes we have to sacrifice our desire for our dreams.

TYPEWRITER (Italian Typewriter)

1.You have to do things very diligently in life because you cannot erase.

2.You need to know what you are doing unless things would go wrong and you will not be able to erase it.

CAMERA

It did not work

His camera could not click pics but looking from it was a blissful experience as he could see beautiful pictures of the outside world but without clicking it.

He learnt from it that sometimes things does not always have to be functional to fulfil a need that sometimes when the things are broken, the greatest creativity emanates from their fragments. The creativity is a process of soul, it does not need an outcome or a product for a world to accept. It need only the truth of its own expression.

Creativity comes from within and makes up your world, whatever you wish it to make. So don't be afraid of your own creativity, honor it.

1. Don't think about others opinions.

2. Is is not necessary that what you are seeing others are also seeing.

SENSE OF HUMOR

Always keep a sense of humor in life to overcome difficult situations. Without the sense of humor, the world would become a dull and dreary place. No darkness or despair should ever be beyond a good and hearty laugh. Cultivate it and all it to lighten every heavy moment. It is like a talisman to survive. He said "humor is actually the deftness to see the world, the reality, for the transient farce it really is." wear it like a vulgar tattoo if you don't really have one. Never loose this gift in the turbulently beautiful seas in life. Its your ticket to stay young and childlike forever.

GIFT OF LIFE

Always treat life like gift. It is the most beautiful and exquisite gift he ever received. This life is a gift, he realized the day he was 15 and his father died. He adds "A gift your parents have given to you already, the single exquisite gift you and I have is the gift of life itself".

There is nothing that marks a man and a woman out from the ordinary more perfectly than grace. grace is the consciousness that life is bigger than we are therefore our gratitude must match its vastness. It is the understanding that everyone we encounter whether they are loving towards us or offensively abrasive is a human like we are. Experiences shape human beings and no matter how good we are at something or how successful we may become we are never better than the other person.

Always keep grace.

Figure of speech

A figure of speech is a word or phrase which is used to create a effect in a non-literal way. This effect may be rhetorical*( art of speaking or writing effectively). The deliberate arrangement is words is made to achieve something poetic and imagery as in the use of language suggests a visual picture and make the idea more vivid. 1. Hyperbole : A figure of speech that utilizes extreme exaggeration to emphasize a certain quality or feature. example : This room is an ice-box.                  I have a million things to do.                  This suitcase weighs a ton. 2. Understatement : understatement is a figure of speech that invokes less emotion that would be expected in reaction to something. This downplaying of reaction is a surprise for the reader and generally has the effect of showing irony.  example : Joe got his dream job, that's not too bad.                  I heard she has cancer, but it's not a big deal.                 That condemned house just needs a coat of pai

Invention of School

Who invented school? Horace Mann  invented school and what is today the United States' modern school system. He is an American educational reformer, Slavery abolitionist and a Whig politician. He is known for his commitment of promoting public education. No one did more than he to establish in the minds of the American people the conception that education should be universal, non-sectarian, free, and that its aims should be social efficiency,  civic virtue , and character, rather than mere learning or the advancement of sectarian ends In 1838, he founded and edited  The Common School Journal . In this journal, Mann targeted the public school and its problems. His six main principles were: 1 the public should no longer remain ignorant; 2 that such education should be paid for, controlled, and sustained by an interested public; 3 that this education will be best provided in schools that embrace children from a variety of backgrounds; 4 that this education must be  non-sectarian ; 5 t

However, it is unfortunate that the poor of the country are not free from fear, even decades after the independence. Their actions, work, etc. are still under pressure, they are under the mercy of the bureaucratic system. If the downtrodden farmers could be released from fear the rest everything would be fixed.
